How does the expiry date work for free events?
Free events go through different phases depending on the start type you choose:

Instant start
You start the event immediately or within the next 4 weeks. The event phase begins right away and ends after 6 weeks. After that, all content is automatically deleted.

Planned event date
You set a date up to 12 months in the future. There are then two phases: a planning phase starting immediately – uploads and downloads are already possible, but limited – ideal for testing and already creating the QR code for table cards or displays. The actual event phase begins 2 weeks before the date and ends 4 weeks after.

You receive a reminder email in good time before the event expires so you can download all your photos.

ZIP download of all photos and videos in original quality is always free – even shortly before expiry.

With an active Premium subscription, the expiry date is removed entirely – your events are retained indefinitely.
